About MARGIN

Luke Hemenway

Fifteen years, one question

I spent 15 years managing marketing analytics at big companies: which spend paid, which didn't, and where the money should go instead. Most recently that was RSM US LLP, the accounting and consulting firm. At Toyota I ran the analytics for Lexus.com and the Lexus app: which ads, pages and offers turned into leads, and which just looked busy. At Fresenius Medical Care I built the company's first reporting on what its digital spend returned. At Bright Horizons I designed the testing program for 3 million emails a week; the first structured A/B test raised email response 8x. Before that, Boston Scientific, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and National Australia Bank, among others.

What MARGIN is

That same job, done for one practice at a time. I read what a patient can see: your pages, your Google listing, your reviews, and the practices near you. From that come five specific changes to your revenue, prices or costs. Each has an estimate of what it's worth, the steps by person and minutes, and the wording ready to paste. Every change names its source. I review and rewrite each one myself.

Then I come back

At day 30 and day 60 I look again at what the public can see: your Google Maps rank, your reviews, whether Google's AI mentions your practice, and your pages. You get a report on what changed, hit or miss. Bookings and revenue are yours to share.

The first one is free. The next four cost $199, $499 or $999 total, depending on what the five are estimated to be worth to your practice in a year. They arrive within 24 hours of payment and are refundable within 30 days of delivery, one refund per practice. No retainer, no contract. I don't sell ads, websites or SEO.

The first two practices were a med spa in Portland and a dental practice in Atlanta. Greater Boston is next.
